recap

I was born at 364 foulbay rd 6:45am August 13th 1994. Dad was a realtor for a while and we moved a lot growing up. I have two older brothers, two parents, two step parents. I was motivated to become more involved in art on a trip to Australia while eighteen I used to be fascinated by graffiti. Taking dark room photography in high school and painting with aerosol, markers, and plastic stencils were my first couple of years of creating Before this I was just drawing crude humanoid figures being ripped apart by midevil torture devices on blue lined school papers, crumpling each one of them with malice and throwing them in the metal trash bin. *Boy I wish I had a couple of those for the archive Taking a two year visual arts program took me along a bit further, meeting two life long friends and establishing a bit of a direction and style. I began to become more familiar with myself. The next step on this staircase led to Brad Messer (Rhadwood), Steven Chmilar, and Oliver Vernon in that order. That chapter took me across four different countries, many lessons learned. Brad showed me the art of making it, hustling, having free roaming fun. Steven showed me attention to the story, the execution. Oliver showed me to parts of myself I needed to recognize and accept. And onwards we find ourselves in Vancouver, in a prestigious 3d animation school learning art through softwares. I worked for several years as a 3d character animator for television and found it rewarding. Though I found life in Vancouver claustrophobic, and became unwell mentally and physically. Like any classic white middle class artist story, at this point I move to Bali because a hot stripper friend told me it was the place to be. It was, I got back on track. Learned to surf and participated in a failed tattoo mentorship. Then after living in Australia for a while, I found a job running some IT garbage at a resort off the coast of Vancouver island. It was ridiculously cushy and I got to spend a ton of time in nature. Throughout that entire time lapse we've just gone through together I had been addicted to drugs. All types of drugs. So this last year running that IT garbage, I got myself a lease, I got myself a damn leash. I got my damn dog under control. I'm writing this eight months sober I found something I had been looking for over a decade Self respect, Self love, Self reliance Being able to trust myself, what I say, what I do Finding peace and little gratitude - though I'm still a judgy bitch and no one will ever take that away from me. So that's that If you read this far I really still cannot believe it's not butter. Here's a little audio treat for you to enjoy, or be completely repulsed by - the choice is yours

As we continue to perform precise imperfections to clarify a seven second perspective

The catalysts of constellations, cast time projection hexes.

Slight miscalculations of dilapidated dream states hovering within view of the bedside mantle.

Attempting to glimpse our second son's departure,  illicitly combating institutional slaughter.

Calling in a strategy of sentimental sentience.

Congealed to a commonplace theme.

Then only with crystalized contingencies set on counterfeiting train crossings.

An infinite self referential funhouse mirror swinging to face us.

Relaying proposals of lost deeds or titles for the mad house crescent.

They’re counting contusions outlining corner cut gravestones.

Unilateral utensil tension torquing.

Despondent dreadnoughts far too deliberate in their dysfunction.

Twice clip tipped and boasting.

A pair of antiseptic mantras held edge to edge of a wavering ghost.

No longer back to backing a dust spore lounge crusade, tangled along tides of intestines.

The nine milliliter destitution of toroidal mind dilution now in its final stage of dominion.

We continue to capitalize on capsized pocket sized paradoxes.
